Ever wonder what some of the most iconic video game soundtracks of all time would sound like with a classy, acoustic jazz touch? The J-MUSIC Pocket Band, a part of the "J-MUSIC Acoustic" series, and a side project of the J-MUSIC Ensemble, is a different approach to the acoustic cover world. This band is normally made of of a smaller, intimate, setup of saxophone, trumpet, upright bass, and either guitar or piano. The ultimate goal is to show the relationship between American influence on Japan and Japanese influence on America, with songs that you wouldn't even believe were only in a video game soundtrack. Perfect for both concert presentations and background music for cocktail parties, restaurants weddings, and so forth.
This is our first demo, featuring a small taste of the acoustic jazz explorations of some of the most iconic, groundbreaking, and revolutionary multimedia soundscapes of all time -- Video game music. This demo explores the music of Pokemon and the Sonic world. Enjoy the soothing sounds of jazz versions of your favorite childhood video game songs!
Oh, and YES, we do take requests.
**The J-MUSIC Pocket Band is an official J-MUSIC Alliance affiliated project.
